Iced Gem Biscuits in a Globe Workshop (Public, 23th June 2018, Saturday)

Description

Gone are the days where I could buy biscuits in tins from provision shops in my neighbourhood. I fondly recall my primary school days when my mother brought me along with her to the provision shop for our weekly grocery shopping. The highlight of these trips was definitely the purchase of our stash of biscuits for the week.

Let’s walk down the memory lane and make a memento out of these precious childhood memories!

In this 4-hour workshop, participants will get to complete from scratch, ONE miniature gem biscuits in a globe by going through the below process:

1) First hour: Create your own gem icing and biscuit base prototypes and molds to bring home.
2) 2nd and 3rd hour: Sculpt and bake as many miniature gem biscuits as you can in 2 hours.
3) 4th hour: Fill up a 25mm glass globe with your crafminiature gem biscuits of 13 different colours and accessorise it into a necklace or keyring
