Fun Facts:

1) During festivals, every Teochew family would come together to make the popular traditional snack 饭桃粿 with rice filling.

2) This savoury kueh is called ban tao or “rice peach” in mandarin, as it is filled with glutinous rice and shaped like a longevity peach to symbolise a long life.
